Laboraide is made from a thermoplastic elastomer which has been specially blended to provide the ultimate in fit and comfort. TPE, as it is known, is both odour and taste free. How do I know which thickness of Laboraide to wear? This is an individual choice. If you are considering buying the twin pack you may want to use the thinner 1mm thickness for the first stage of labour (contractions) and the thicker 3mm thickness during the second stage (pushing). The quad pack gives you much more flexibility as you have the additional 5mm and 7mm thickness Laboraides. You may find that these slightly thicker devices give more power to your pushing. Your Laboraide is lightweight and discreet and when in place does not interfere with speech.
